I like to share my sources for my designs with my students in class and it was so neat to show that this design was inspired by a mail order catalog and the piece that could be purchased was a still life set up of plastic hollow pumpkins and silk leaves! I saw the layout in the catalog and immediately envisioned my interpretation as shown in this photo! You could adapt it to just about any surface choice as well as size!
