Hello, My name is Sherrie Cook and I'm from Pasadena, Texas.

During the day I'm a floral designer by trade.

And in the evening I'm teaching painting classes in our floral shop.

 

Knowing that I've always had a knack for creating, At a young age working

in the only local craft store in town, we had a studio in the store and a teacher

named Jeannie Campbell, I watched her faithfully everyday. One day after

my wedding she gave me a print of one of her painting and from then on

my heart has been in painting of all mediums

 

During Artist expo in Houston, members from our painting group Artist with

Heart were talking about her class, so i decided to try it. I drew a lot as a child.

but had no idea how much i would love it her technique. So having only one class with Mary

I signed up for her certification instructor class and fulfilled the requirements.

And now I'm ready to start teaching this wonderful technique.

 

 

Currently, besides running a busy Florist, I'm painting for Sak's Neiman's

Macy's, Dillard's I'm a member of the SDP and Artist with Heart group (which meets the third Tues of every month here

in Pasadena.Texas. The Crochet Guild of America,OSCI

Instructor, DDWF, TMF-Texas Master Florist and working on a Certified Ken Brown Engraver.

I've been married 25 years to loving and supportive Husband, Ronnie Cook.

we have three children 2 sons, Jeremy, CJ and one daughter, Crystal.

We have three beautiful grandchildren, Daisy, Hillary, And Cooper.

And of course my three Miniature Schnauzers, Rocky, Odie, and Francis.
