School years provided a sound artistic base in various mediums.  Marriage and child rearing along with moving (17 in first 25 years) and a traveling husband seriously curtailed art activities.  Needle work can be put down and picked up while baby tending.  Cub Scouts, Little League, Jr. basketball, and Sr. basketball provided experience in discipline and structured teaching.  Pen and Ink has always been a favorite, so when Mary Owens provided a class at Seattle, WA mini-convention it was exciting.  Now that I’m certified there can be many opportunities.  At present, consideration is for small (2-4 people) classes in my home.
