Along with my co- worker Kitty Egan, I discovered a desire to learn Tole painting about 15 years ago. After attending many classes & conventions we formed Its Bloomin Time as we were mainly painting flowers on watch faces. In 2002 we were certified by Donna Dewberry to teach One Stroke.
In July 2003 we took a 1 day class in Ink & Oil Rouging and were hooked! Based on that class we took our certification with Mary Owens in November 2003. We were truly addicted to Ink & Oil Rouging and in addition to teaching in our own classroom in Courtenay for 3years we put on successful seminars in Campbell River and Powell River.
In October 2007 my husband and I left Vancouver Island and moved to Kamloops, B.C. We were fortunate enough to find a home that had a studio that can accommodate 6 students at a time. I have joined the local Arts Council as well as the Arts & Crafts club and have received a very warm reception in Kamloops and surrounding areas.
I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet many new people through Ink & Oil Rouging!
