I have been a decorative painter and crafter for 25+ years. I started out taking ceramic classes in the 70's. I then found a small craft shop that was offering acrylic painting classes. Scared to death and not able to draw a stick figure, I ventured out and began a hobby that has brought me all the way to being a Certified Teacher of Mary's Pen/Ink and oil rouging technique.
I was first introduced to Mary when I traveled to Orlando, Florida to Extrav in hunt of Mary's KopyArt Projector. I purchased a projector and brought it home so excited to use it. Well I used it occasionally but it mainly sat in the box. My next encounter with Mary was at Nationals in Nashville, TN. After a demonstration of the projector and talking to Mary, the projector hasn't been back in the box since.
I was so impressed with Mary's technique I signed up and went through her certification program in Panama City, FL. I completed the program and became a certified teacher. I have also completed Mary's Ultimate Design course and have copyrights to a pattern packet "Pic-A-Peck" I designed. I teach in my home studio as well as travel teach. I am also available to teach at club functions or retreats.
I am a Member of the National Society of Decorative Painters, Bluegrass Tolers, and Middle Tennessee Decorative Artists.
I am originally from Wisconsin where I have three grown children. I am the proud Grandma of a new grandson. Of course, he is the cutest baby in the world.
My biggest fan is my husband. He offers me encouragement as well as cuts my wood and helps with construction of many projects. We sell our art and craft items at various craft fairs throughout the year.
You may contact me for any of Mary's products or if you have any questions. I sell my pattern packet for $5.00 plus $2.50 shipping for 1 to 5 packets. My packet comes with instructions as well as a colored photo.
