Color Wheel's Art Instructor
Lorinda Hull is Color Wheel's owner and full-time art instructor teaching classes at the Color Wheel and at local chapters in Ohio.
Art has always been a part of Lorinda's life choice even at a young age. Fasinated with painting and drawing, she seriously started her education in arts at Patterson CO-OP Vocational High School majoring in Commercial Art/Technical Illustration. Majoring in fine arts, she continued her education at Sinclair Community College and has studied with a variety of local and nationally known artists over the years in watercolors, oils, colored pencil, pastels, pen-n-ink, and acrylic painting. Lorinda aquired her CMOT certification from Mary Owens Designs to teach pen-n-ink with rouged oils. She is currently working on her painting certification through the Society of Decorative Painters, of which the Color Wheel is a business member, and plans on teaching at national conventions in the future.
Lorinda's experience over the last 27 years has been in fine arts, photography, graphic arts, webpage design, and creating digital movies. Over the years, she has experience working as a technical illustrator, commercial artist, computer graphic artist, photographer, & cinematographer for various companies supporting Wright-Patterson AFB, silk-screening companies, and printing desktop publishing industry in the Dayton, Ohio area. Lorinda also enjoys calligraphy and often demos and teaches the art of hand lettering.
Loving the arts, she plans to dedicate this time in her life to painting & drawing, and to educating & encouraging others.
