My name is Annamarie and I have been painting for the past 18 years. My 13 year old son, Jordan and my 2 year old tabby cat Cassie have played a great part in this adventure!
I have taught decorative painting at home and traveled to teach most of this time. In 1997 I attended my first trade show and convention at Kaswood in Toronto, Canada and took a lot of classes in many mediums....Mary Owens was one class that I dearly enjoyed. I attended 2 more conventions at kaswood being certified with Donna Dewberry but could not forget the enjoyment and satisfaction I felt with Mary! I took my certification course in Brockville, Ontario in 2000 and helped Mary with her class in Montréal the same week! I was hooked on the way she taught her classes and finished my certification with her in Providence Rhode Island at the New England Traditions Convention. I have been teaching her style of pen and inking ever since. I have taught with Mary in Westerly, RI and have just returned from the National SDP Convention with her in Tampa, FL. I plan to teach with her in Montréal in October, and also next April at the Poconos mountains in Penn. Teaching with her enables me to teach my students "Mary's way".
In January 2004, I became a sales representative for her here in Canada.! Sales have been wonderful.....and hoping to be even better in the coming years!
I have been a licensed practical nurse for 26 years and this past October took a new position as a physiotherapist assistant! Working 8-4 and weekends off helps me travel teach and be home with Jordan! Thank you Mary for your kindness and your ability to teach ..you've got it girl......
Thank you Cindi for being such an excellent business girl...keep up the good work! Thanks Lynn for filling the orders! Thank you Jordan for being such a great son .....your patients and understanding for having such a creative mom goes a long ways.....I love you always!
