My name is Donna Hartline. I live in northeast Alabama with my husband, Tommy. We have two grown sons, two daughters-in-law, a granddaughter, and a grandson on the way. I began drawing and painting at an early age. One of the first projects that I remember was a set of wooden Christmas ornaments cut out by my Dad, which I still have. I have studied tole painting, drawing, oil painting, and water-colors with many regionally recognized artists. In 2001, I became a Certified One Stroke Instructor. I teach painting classes at a local college and in my home studio. In August, 2005, I meet Mary at a trade show and became very interested in her pen and ink with oil rouging technique. I attended Mary’s certification class in October, 2005, and completed my certification in February, 2006. I am now ready to begin teaching
