Pen & Ink with Rouged Oils

This project inks up quickly and is so much fun to rouge. I was teaching at one of my favorite studios in Michigan, and as we were going outside Linda’s studio to spray our pieces, I looked up and saw this very birdhouse in her backyard. Mentioning that this would be great in a packet, one of the students walked back outside with her camera, and thanks to Tina…we have this design! Adapt to any surface as well as size, and this one also makes a great class project!
As a seminar choice: If projectors are going to be
incorporated into the class, we can enlarge or reduce the design to
fit the students choice of surfaces. According to my portfolio,
materials needed for class are listed.
