BARN AT PINE KNOB
An introduction to pen and ink
along with a new approach to adding color with conventional oil paint.
Beginner level, but even the most experienced student will enjoy the
update on new materials that are being introduced to the market.
This project started as a photo I took after passing by this barn every
day. See how to take your own photos and turn them into patterns
that can be used to develop your own designs! This project is done on
16" x 2O" stretched, med. texture canvas, but could be done on
wood, or any variety of surfaces. A prep sheet will be forwarded to you
detailing all the specifics of this. One of the nicest features of this
project is the versatility of background choices. It is not mandatory that
the entire class make the same choice. The project works well with the
variety, and the students get to see the results on the different choices.
